ContentWise Technology Adds Personalized Recommendations to the New Minerva 10 Landing Page

Minerva Networks, a leading provider of software solutions for the delivery of multiscreen television services, today announced the release of Minerva 10, a breakthrough entertainment delivery platform with a new personalized subscriber landing page powered by the ContentWise personalized discovery and recommendations solution .  Minerva has integrated the ContentWise technology to deliver a highly personalized experience for both live and on demand content.  The new landing page, which is part of Minerva’s cross-device client enables service providers to engage subscribers with a compelling content discovery experience.

“Pay TV Operators must increasingly deliver a converged, personalized experience to subscribers in order to preserve margins and manage churn,” said Jean-Georges Fritsch, CTO for Minerva.  “Minerva 10 enables operators to remain the focal point for delivering all of a consumer’s media and communications services.”

ContentWise, which specializes in personalized recommendations that increase content consumption and demand, will leverage Minerva’s cloud-based analytics capabilities to offer content recommendations based on user consumption of linear and on demand content across set-top boxes, PCs, tablets, and smartphones. Recommendations will be seamlessly delivered through the Minerva 10 client with the goal of allowing subscribers to find something to watch as quickly as possible.

The Minerva 10 platform leverages HTML5 and browser-based technology for the client to support a wide range of devices, as well as enable flexible customization options for operators.  The platform supports a wide range of operator network topologies, including fiber-to-the premise (FTTP), DSL, hybrid-fiber-coax (HFC), and over-the-top deployments.
