ContentWise is selected as ConnectedWorld.TV Awards 2012 Finalist

We are very pleased to announce that BPL Broadcast Ltd., publisher of IBE and long time IBC partner, selected ContentWise as ConnecteWorld.TV Awards finalist in the “Best Web App” category. ContentWise, as well as the other finalists, will be recognized at the awards ceremony that will be held at a gala dinner at the Hotel Okura Amsterdam on Monday 10 September, during the IBC2012 conference.

This recognition is the result of the important innovations introduced with ContentWise 4.2 that make it the cross-media, multiscreen content discovery engine built to integrate with large-scale digital media services. Released in March 2012, ContentWise 4.2 introduces two key new functionalities: A/B testing for operators, and a social network data processing and presentation component.

Additionally, ContentWise 4.2 supports cross-media catalogs enabling the discovery of content across domains. ContentWise supports integrated catalogs of VOD, Live TV programming, e-books, music streams, video games and mobile/tablet apps. It delivers recommendations to set-top boxes, Web portals, tablets, and phones, and customizes recommendations based on the individual user and the type of device used.
